Kenzie has Team Spirit

BA (Hons) Event Management graduate Kenzie Baldock has been awarded this year’s Team Sprit Prize.

The prize is awarded to a final year student who has shown both a high level of academic ability and a commitment and passion for the events industry.

Team Spirit's Ellie McNulty attended the degree ceremony to formally present the prize.

Throughout her degree Kenzie was a hardworking and committed student and her hard work was rewarded with First Class Honours in Event Management.

In addition to her academic performance Kenzie spent a year’s placement at Disney and was also part of a team of five that devised, planned and organised an event entitled 'UCLan’s Got Talent' on behalf of Barnardo's.

With sponsorship from local businesses and a lot of hard work, the group raised £714.39 for a very worthwhile cause. The event won the ‘Best Student Event’ at the prestigious UK Event Awards 2011.

We are very proud of our links with Team Spirit, one of the UK’s leading events companies, who support the Event Management Programme by giving guest lectures, volunteering and placement opportunities and sponsoring a team building event as part of first year induction.

This is the third consecutive year they have sponsored this award.
